Il fenomeno del bullismo a scuola ha raggiunto in tutta la azione dimensioni rilevanti e ha assunto caratteristiche tali da costituire una fronte di allarme sociale. Il Bullismo deve essere esattamente definito e non va confuso con la devianza conclamata o con altre condotte disadattive.

La nostra provincia possiede caratteristiche antropologiche precise che possono costituire facile terreno di coltura per le prevaricazioni e vittimizzazioni. Disporre di dati aggiornati sugli aspetti quantitativi e qualitativi del fenomeno è il presupposto indispensabile per poter intervenire e progettare azioni mirate e coordinate. Gli interventi più efficaci sono risultati quelli che hanno portato avanti politiche integrate tra i vari soggetti.
